So I decided to scrap the idea of having an interview with a host and eating chips with hummus. I instead decided on redoing the whole thing and just going solo, without anyone else in the project. The reason I changed it was because there were some audio issues because the camera was semi-faraway from where we were talking. I also decided to change it because I thought the natural and loose script wouldn't work with what the rubric was asking for.
What I decided to do instead was make it a Q&A style video with the film's director (myself). Similar to the AMAs or live Q&As that professionals have on places like Reddit. I framed the questions on the rubric like ones asked by regular people. I thought this format was more formal, which allowed me to touch all the bases that the rubric wanted me to land on. And I'm super close to the camera so the audio was definitely picked up.
